Jenny Carey is a photographer and creative residing in Tampa, Florida. Her photographic images encompass the themes of memory, loss, and family using repetition, ordinary objects, and intimate environments. She seeks to narrate the unseen beauty in her immediate environment, despite the surroundings or one’s emotional state. Her home and personal objects are often subject matter in her images, but frequent travels have opened a favored narrative in her Erosion series.
Jenny is also the founder, and coordinator, of Creatives Exchange, an artist collective of professional artists, based in Tampa, which supports the creative interests of the group and community through exhibitions and original programs.
